The next Heritage Open Days festival will be taking place Friday 11 - Sunday 20 September 2026. Please check back soon for updates about brochure and ticketing deadlines, the theme announcement and more.
The festival period is designed to offer you flexibility: so you can run events over as many or as few days as you like.
Returning organisers can log in to their organiser area and new organisers can join our community by visiting the national HODs site.
To guarantee a listing in the Norfolk HODs brochure, registrations must be submitted by Sunday 1 June 2025 at 5pm. Registrations in draft will not be included as we need to see that insurance requirements have been approved.
Please ensure your event meets the HODs entry criteria of being free to access and includes at least one of the following:
Site not usually open to the public
There is usually an entry charge, which will be waived for HODs
Event put on especially for HODs
Listings meeting these criteria will include title, address, date/time and a short description. We will use some of the Quick Summary information you enter on your online registration for the brochure content. Other entries will be limited to title, address and date/time only.
If you are ticketing your event, on your registration please select the ‘Pre-booking required’ option in Section 5 (Timings and Tours).
For simplicity, we ask that tickets for Norfolk pre-book events are released at the same time for fairness to visitors. We will publish the release date in our marketing, including the brochure.
To manage your own bookings, please enter your own contact details, along with the booking opening and closing dates and times below (when selecting the dates you will need to click the clock symbol at the bottom of the calendar to edit times):
Enter 10am on Wednesday 27 August 2025 under Booking Opens
Enter 3pm and the date before your event under Booking Closes
If you would like the Norfolk HODs team to manage ticketing for your event, it is essential you contact us on [email protected] or 01603 727989, and prior to completing your registration. This allows us to ensure your ticketing experience runs smoothly.
If your event is not ticketed, please select 'Pre-booking not required’ in this section.
You can register an event on the national Heritage Open Days website - heritageopendays.org.uk/get-involved/how-to-get-involved
