Booking tickets

Norfolk Heritage Open Days 2026 will take place from Friday 11 to Sunday 20 September 2026.

All Heritage Open Days events are free for you to experience and enjoy. Due to limited capacity, some events must be pre-booked and tickets are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are limited to 2 per booker per event.

Most tickets can be booked online via norfolkhods.ticketsolve.com from Wednesday 26 August at 10am.

In some cases, you will be required to book directly with the venue online, by phone or by email. Please check individual event listings for details. Meeting points and venue addresses will be confirmed with your booking.

As well as the pre-booked events, there are lots of events which you can drop in to enjoy.

Step-by-step guide to booking tickets

  1. Once tickets are released (for the majority of Norfolk HODs events) visit: norfolkhods.ticketsolve.com

  2. You will see a list of events that are ticketed. Please note if a venue or organisation are managing their own ticketing, they will not be shown on this page. Their booking information will be shown on their event listing at: heritageopendays.org.uk

  3. Select the event you wish to attend.

  4. If the event has multiple dates/times, you will need to select a date on the calendar, and then a time.

  5. Choose the number of tickets (max 2). Please note tickets will only be held in your basket for 10 minutes.

  6. You can choose whether to "return to shows and continue browsing" to go back to the list of ticketed events, or Checkout to view your basket.

  7. On the Basket page, there's another chance to Continue Shopping to browse more events. You can Empty Your Cart if you’ve made an error or changed your mind. If you’d like to complete your booking, press Continue (pink button at the bottom right of the page).

  8. How would you like to proceed: If you have used our box office system before and created an account in the past, you can sign in. If you would like to Create an Account you can do that too. However, for ease, we recommend selecting the pink button at the bottom of the page to Continue as Guest, to ensure you can secure your tickets.

  9. You can then fill in your personal information and accept the T&Cs, and press Continue.

  10. You will then be taken to a confirmation page and will see a summary of your booking. You can download your booking/tickets at this point, but they will also be emailed to you. Please read the confirmation email carefully as it will have important information about the event including access and meeting points.

  11. If you’d like to continue browsing and booking tickets, please select “Shows” at the top of the page. The "Home" button will take you to the main Norfolk Heritage Open Days website.

If you need to find your booking information later, search “norfolkhods” in your emails.

Cancellations

Occasionally, events may be cancelled at short notice due to circumstances beyond the organisers’ control. In the event of cancellation of pre-book events, every endeavour will be made to contact ticket holders. We regret that we may not be able to offer an alternative for cancelled events.
