More than 100 free culture and heritage events open for booking on Monday 22 August.
Norfolk Heritage Open Days returns Friday 9 – Sunday 18 September, with ten days of unmissable events celebrating the region’s history. With a fantastic programme of free drop-in events, and pre-book tours, talks, walks, shows and more, tickets are expected to book up extremely quickly.
Pre-book events go on sale Monday 22 August, 10am, with tickets available online on norfolkheritageopendays.ticketsolve.com or directly from the event organisers. A full programme of all the Heritage Open Days events can be found online at heritageopendays.co.uk
With more than 300 Heritage Open Days events taking place in Norfolk alone, the programme encompasses many elements of local history, giving visitors the opportunity to explore unseen areas of our most-loved locations, learn the stories of our county, and experience unique events.
Katie Ellis, Norfolk Heritage Open Days Event Producer says “With so many fantastic events across the county, there’s sure to be something for everybody to enjoy! Our pre-booked events have limited availability, so we recommend booking early, or joining us for one of our brilliant drop-in events.”
The national theme for Heritage Open Days 2022 is Astounding Inventions, celebrating ingenuity and scientific creativity across the country. Norfolk Heritage Open Days is coordinated by The Forum, where a special exhibition marking ‘250 Years of the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital’ will take place, as well as a series of fascinating talks which explore the history of medicine.
Some of the events are drop-in, and some events must be pre-booked.
Tickets are allocated on a first come first served basis, due to limited capacity. Tickets are limited to 2 per booker for each event.
Pre-book ticket bookings open Monday 19 August at 10am.
Most tickets can be booked online via norfolkhods.ticketsolve.com but please check individual event listings. Some events must be booked directly through the organisers/venue online, by phone, or by email.
If booking online on norfolkhods.ticketsolve.com we recommend checking out as a guest, instead of logging in or creating an account. You will have 15 minutes to complete your order.
Meeting points and addresses will be confirmed by email after booking.
Brochures will be available to pick up from The Forum and at various sites across the county, such as Libraries and Tourist Information Centres from Monday 22 July.
Unfortunately we cannot send brochures via the post.
