Build a Mini Town

Harleston Library, Swan Lane, Harleston, IP20 9AW

Drop in and help create a Mini Town with our ongoing papercraft activity, suitable for all ages. Wed 17 at 3.30pm is a family time construction special. The mini town will evolve and be on display throughout HODs.

Diss Museum

Explore the wonderful Tudor and Georgian architecture of Diss, and an ancient pub with a saucy royal secret. Follow this self-guided trail of buildings dating back to the 1600s and discover more about the people behind the buildings. Collect a trail guide from Diss Museum.

History of Railways Around Wymondham

Visit the station and see displays of historical pictures, memorabilia, talks and children’s activities. The MNR train service to Dereham will be operational - watch heritage steam or diesel locos in action!

Visit a mini Anglo-Saxon camp with experienced living historians to discover what life was like for ordinary people around the time the Winfarthing Woman was buried with her fine golden jewellery.
